The following message was recently delivered by snail mail to all University of Louisville alumni in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area:
Fellow Alumnus:
It is that time of the year again, when the temperature is falling into the low 90's, the grass needs only one mowing per week, and we prepare for the winter changes - shorter days and what seems like longer work days.
In order to help us through these difficult times, your Alumni Club would like you to join us for events. We have moved the Game Watch parties and other functions to a club room at BlackFinn Restaurant. We have control over the three plasma televisions and more importantly control over their volume level.
The University of Louisville is becoming a national University. The out-of-state clubs can be an integral part of this transformation. Your membership in the UofL DFW Alumni Club goes toward scholarship funds for Texas students who wish to attend UofL. Please feel free to call me if you have any questions.
