On Saturday, September 26, the University of Louisville Dallas-Ft. Worth Alumni Club invites local alumni, fans and friends of the university to attend its signature social event for fall 2009 – the opening Saturday night of the Fall Meeting at Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie (map/directions).
The park’s gates open at 5:30 PM CT and post time for the first race is 6:30 PM CT.
The club has made reservations in the Silks Dining Room on the Fourth level of the track (pictures), where a dress code is strictly enforced (upscale or business casual; collared shirt required for men, t-shirts and ragged/abbreviated wear prohibited).
Interested parties must purchase tickets ($14/person) in advance; please also note that during the races, the track requires an additional minimum purchase of $12.50/person.

This will be a great opportunity for both old and new UofL friends from around the Metroplex to meet up, network, and enjoy a bit of wagering on the horses. We hope to see you there.
